In No Hurry

Pages evolve. I never know where they are going to take me. Layering paint, drawing, collage, image transfers... no rhyme or reason...and yet... stories appear, or snippets of stories at best.

Some are still held deep within me from the 60s...most ethics and beliefs still held strong:

...still the Dove and not the Hawk...

...some things even further back appear on the pages...those things we love in childhood that stay with us...or at least their memory...

This is wonderful! I love the layers you always use. The richness of this one is especially appealing! Great job, as always, Jolene!

Leaving on May 7th. I don't think we'll be delayed again. And I'll have my new little netbook with me so I should be available!

Stampmaiden...thanks homegirl! LOL!

Ellen, and you are SURE you don't need me for an assistant on this job in Paris, right? ;-)

I love all your pages but that one with the dresser I really love so, so much!!!! Did you draw that or is it a cut out from a magazine or what? That is so neat!!!!

NorahNick - Thank YOU so much for visiting and leaving such a NICE compliment!

The dresser is a cut out from a catalog! Everything else is hand done (lettering, etc.).

We are re-decorating our apartment and I am always re-arranging furniture in my head! LOL! So of course it inspired my journaling!
